Overwrite Default Content for the EULA, Copyright, and Privacy Policy Statements

Datalogics provides default content for READynamic for an End User License Agreement, a detailed copyright statement, and a privacy policy.  The EULA statement and the privacy policy appear the first time a new user signs on. The user must check a box to confirm consent.

Note that a user will not see the detailed copyright statement anywhere within READynamic unless the software is set up to call the Copyright API. The EULA statement appears because the software calls the EULA API whenever a user signs on for the first time.

Steps for editing

  1. Add your custom text for an End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy to the configuration file called eula_configuration_overrides.yml.

This file is found in the config_overrides directory of the READynamic build structure.

After you update this file, any new user signing on to READynamic for the first time will see your version of this statement.

  1. Add your custom text for a copyright statement to the configuration file called copyright_configuration_overrides.yml. This file is also found in the config_overrides directory of the READynamic build structure.
  1. Restart the READynamic server. Your statements will appear.
